Mr Feisty

I have met with Clive on several occasions, both in personal appointments and, of course, at the pre-covid seminars.

The first time we actually met was when I picked him and Bob Massey up from a local hotel to then transfer them to an appointment for, potentially, a large Trust case following a medical negligence claim. my only other experience of Clive prior to that being the one seminar I had attended at a hotel in Kenilworth. Immediately, I was struck by two things, one being his confidence and the other his obvious knowledge. Combine those two with what I considered a barrelling personality and that registered as FEISTY to me.

The case progressed satisfactorily but not without several moments of bubbling confrontation between Clive and myself. These "confrontations" proved positive, as I learned a good deal about process at Countrywide and was able to make early decisions as a result to what I liked and did not like so much in these matters. I am grateful for that "hands on tuition"

This man certainly had a personality and, in my experience, never afraid to show it. Absolutely right in my book! It is clear he has been  instrumental in the rise of Countrywide and I am sure his colleagues are much saddened at his loss. Sincere condolences to his family also for what is an even greater event. A sad day.
